What is: cPanel

cPanel is the most popular web hosting control panel. It has an intuitive, easy-to-use interface, where you can view and manage all of your server settings. When you sign up for a hosting, most likely you’ll receive access to a cPanel.

Different cPanel installations might include different features, but here is a quick, general overview of things you can control.

Files
FTP accounts, backup. There is also a built-in file manager, where you can handle files and directories. You can even upload a ZIP and extract it.

Databases
Database management, phpMyAdmin.

Domains
DNS settings, subdomains, redirects.

Email
Everything that is email related. Accounts, forwarders and so on.

Metrics
Analytics, error logs.

Security
SSH access, SSL/TLS, leech and hotlink protection.

Software
NodeJS, Ruby, Python app setup. You can also update PHP version and PHP options.
